This morning I drove down to SUNY Geneseo to deliver work for Ecologies of Food, an exhibition coming up this fall. While I was there, I went on a search for the school community garden, hidden in the woods of the Roemer Arboretum. The first three images are from my walk through the trails, looking for the garden.
It's looking pretty neglected at the moment, but the overgrowth made for some interesting photos:
As I photographed the garden, the sky grew increasingly darker, with lightning and thunder in the distance. I made it back to my car right before the storm hit with heavy rain and marble-sized hail. Here's the main street in Geneseo, just as the downpour began:
